• We ensure that we stay up to date with all relevant legislation and safety regulations through our membership of the national Trade Body; the CPT, and by the Continuing Professional Development training of our drivers which includes defensive driving techniques, first aid, health and safety, and other driving regulations.
• For further peace of mind, our drivers have current CRB checks.

Service & Support

• With our many years of experience and excellent contacts, we can offer tour planning and journey advice, if required, whether you want to know  estimated journey times, ideas for destinations or bookings for ferries, meals, accommodation, attractions........
• We can offer advice and information leaflets for organisers on Safe Travel with Young People which are based on our many years of experience.
• Based on experience and as part of our service to Youth groups, we carry emergency cleaning equipment to cope with travel illness.
• We are licenced and fully insured to operate throughout Britain and Europe

Types of Work

Our vehicles are available for different types of work according to your requirements;

• Private Hire. Our coaches can be hired by the hour or the day to take your group to attractions, both those that are local and those further afield, including for residential visits in the UK or Overseas.
• Regular Contracts. We are happy to quote for regular daily journeys such as home to school, or weekly trips to venues such as Swimming Pools.

A Quality Vehicle

A smart, modern, reliable vehicle has got to be the first priority for every organiser. With one of the most modern coach fleets in Bradford, we take great pride in the care and presentation of all of our coaches.

We have three sizes available; 35, 49 and 53 seats. All of them comply with current safety legislation, they are all fitted with seatbelts (some have lap belts, some of them have 3 point belts on all seats) and for your extra safety they all have a secondary braking system.

All of our coaches also offer;

• Reclinable seats with aisle armrests
• Overhead luggage racks
• Climate control air conditioning
• Individual reading lights and ventilation controls
• Public address system
• Double glazing
• ‘Kneeling' devices for easy access
• Spacious boot or underfloor luggage space

On our 49 seat tour coaches you will find all of these features and a;

Who Are We?

J.A.K. Travel Ltd is a family firm that was established in Bradford in 1987. We offer a wide range of Day Excursions, Short Break Holidays and Coaches for Private Hire to groups. In 1997 we purchased and  incorporated the long established firm of Westercroft coaches on the retirement of it's owner.

We have our own premises at Sandbeds, between Bingley and Keighley with parking, washing and other preparation facilities and a modern office.

We are full members of the national trade body for the Coach Industry, the Confederation of Passenger Transport.
