Clumber Park was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle. Although the house no longer exists the walled kitchen garden, Gothic Revival chapel and the lake and lakeside walks remain. We travel to Nottingham, with its 17th century mansion, now a museum, on the site of the Norman Castle. It is, of course, famous for its links with Robin Hood as well as for its lace making industry.
